Pee prayers were answered!
If Jenson can keep it up, we will hopefully get to move back to our floor again and have more freedom...freedom from a nurse living in our room with us, freedom for Jenson from machines helping him live, freedom to eat in our room (and freedom for me from small bites of PB&J sandwiches when the nurse isn't looking), freedom to go to the bathroom in our own room! It is amazing how one week can give you such an appreciation for the small things in life.
Jenson is now free from the GI tube, oxygen, stickers on his face holding the tubes down, the catheter, and Vivian. We need things to keep moving in the right direction.
The bone marrow doctor told us today they MAY be seeing the first signs of engraft of Sydney's cells, but time will tell. Sydney's cells will hopefully grant us the freedom to live as a normal family again.
Go Sydney's cells!
