I pick Sydney up from her grandparents this morning. She is smiling from ear to ear and with her bright blue eyes. It is the best feeling to pick her up, hug her, and kiss her.
We head down to the hospital to surprise Jenson. He is dealing with a pain episode as we walk in the door. Our visit definitely helps him, "Sydney, mommy. It's Sydney and mommy!". We both give him hugs. He asks Sydney to come sit next to him in his bed.
Jenson tells Syd he needs her to stay all day, "No go home Sydney". She happily stays and helps care for him - rubbing his back and his tummy to help him feel better.
Jenson says, "Daddy, Mommy, Sydney, Jenson."
Sydney says, "Our whole family!".
It is so nice to be together. Our hearts are happy.

Thanks for posting the sweet pictures of Sydney and Jenson. They are so precious. I showed the pictures to my daughter (3yrs) last night and she immediately felt a connection with Sydney as older sister herself. I don't always know how much she understands when we pray together for your family, but her understanding is richer for having seen the photos.
