Going Home?

Good question but we don't know yet.

Jenson is tolerating the feeds through the tubes well. Our hold up is he will need blood and platelet transfusions for several more months. The outpatient clinic is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so Jenson has to be able to go 3 days without needing a transfusion to make it through the weekend before they will discharge us. He is making it over 3 days on blood transfusioins but not quite 3 days yet on platelets. For us to go home, the doctors would need to decide to lower the platelet transfusion threshold...otherwise the waiting continues. They will make the call Monday.

On a good note, Jenson's mucositis is FINALLY clearing up. He has been able to chew a few bites of chicken tortilla soup, popcorn, Cheez-its, rice, and spaghetti.

The house is also now ready for Jenson thanks to a bunch of friends from church doing the deep clean today. Thank you!!!
