The puking finally stopped around 4 pm yesterday. Today, no signs of it.
The doctors suspect his Monday night carb eating spree sent his stomach into overdrive. Easy on the carbs is the learning as he starts eating again. Looks like the feeding tube will be around longer than we thought.
Jenson had head pain yesteday too - a bad reminder for us of all the tumor head pain from before. Hopefully yesterday's head pain was a result of all the vomiting but time will tell. If it persists, it is off to x-ray on Friday to make sure there aren't new lesions. I am ready to worry about normal stuff like teaching Jenson to walk again instead of tumors.
Another all day appointment at the clinic today getting platelets, albumin, and a shot of the growth stimulating hormone GCSF.
Monday is day +60, so the FISHing expedition happens again. Praying we don't catch fish! Go Sydney's cells - bring new life.

I hear you. Nothing like a "normal life". Your un-normal life is a light to others. Go Sydney Cells!!! Go
ReplyDeleteA lot of people get headaches from MSG, which is in goldfish, granola bars, and most flavored yogurt. I expect you'd find that a diet of only unprocessed foods would settle on his stomach better and help him to recuperate more quickly. We continue praying for you many times a day. May the Lord bless you all with health and peace now.
