We're getting small glimpes of his personality back. He at least wanted to watch his 2 favorite movies today: Cars and Tangled. And he normally wants to tell me when the funny parts are coming, and he did that today and smiled at them! He's talking more today as well.
He's still not wanting to sit up or walk or play with toys, but Sun-Tues he didn't even want to watch his favorite movies so it's at least a small step forward. Maybe tomorrow he'll sit up or walk or want to play.

He's also back to collecting syringes from his favorite "yummy" medicines (he likes to hold them and sometimes pretend like he's giving me medicine...once again, he's making the best of even something like getting medicine). He feel asleep with it in his hand, so I snapped this adorable picture.
He's also starting to drink milk again, so we're hopeful he'll be interested in food again soon.
I know the question you have... is the poop out yet? Well, he pooped a couple more times today but we don't believe it's out yet (you don't want me to describe why we believe that, just trust me on this one).
The Surgeon/Chief Medical Officer stopped by to see him and let me know we can't yet rule out for sure he doesn't have scar tissue in his GI tract from the surgery that is causing the blockage, but they are hopeful it's his disease creating the issue and that as he gets the chemo his GI tract will widen again. Please pray for a widening of his GI tract! If it doesn't and it's scare tissue or the poop won't come out it would require yet another surgery and additional risk. He also gave me his card and said if we need anything to call. That number immediately went on speed dial!
Sydney and I are supposed to be heading to California on Sunday morning. She's supposed to go to her friend's birthday party and go to her old pre-school Mon/Tues. She's really excited about this trip and her CA friends are really excited to see her, so we're hoping Jenson keeps improving so we can take this trip. Doug believes it's REALLY important to take her on this trip, and I agree. It means a lot to her and we need to make sure she feels special as well. So our final prayer request is that Sydney and I would be able to make this trip.
Thanks to everyone for all your prayers, as we can really feel them strengthening us through this crazy time.
Kristin
