This week has been mixed. Jenson definitely has had some highs and lows this week.
Both on Saturday and Sunday, he had these moments of going from fine to complete meltdown... we call them "prednisone moments" because it's like his nerves get completely fried and he has a crying fit. We believe it's the prednisone as he rarely has them weeks he's not on it. We continue to pray he won't have long term side effects from either the chemo or the prednisone he's taking.
He also had moments of having so much fun! He's very into books right now. Each morning and evening he brings me books to read to him and curls up on my lap. Sometimes you'll catch him reading to himself too... opening the book, saying "doyt, doyt, doyt, doyt, awh" (not sure what that means, but it's the cutest thing ever!).

He is also our biggest fan! He applauds things he likes... you finish a book and get applause, you finish changing his diaper and get applause, you feed him a yogurt and get applause. It's so cute (and I have to say it makes you feel good even about changing a diaper).
He inspires me to appreciate life each day and that each day you have something to be thankful for despite how you're feeling!
On another positive note, Doug and I actually went on a date this weekend and went to the concert "Train". Talk about an incredible voice and concert! They were better live than on their cds (and we really like their cds). We love going to concerts together, and it was nice to have a night out the two of us and do something fun!!!
