The good news is the blood transfusion went ok. He just got home and his coloring looks a lot better. He's also got more energy. Sydney can't stop hugging him and is playing and singing with him now.
The bad news is one of the nurses made another mistake. They had his blood results Thursday afternoon and should have caled then. Someone definitely dropped the ball. Another frustrating reality of having so many humans involved with his care. You can chose your primary doctor but can't chose the whole team.
Crisis averted at least for now.
Pray his body will be able fight off the ear infection and virus.
