A day to celebrate - Jenson turns 2!

Thursday was Jenson's 2nd birthday. We decided to just have a family celebration this year for him.

We decorated the house in birthday decorations, got party blowers, cupcakes, and blew up a few baloons. Sydney had been excited for his birthday for weeks, so she decided to dress up in her princess ballerina outfit and wear her crown and princess shoes for the party.

Jenson was so excited!!! Below is a video from the party.

Sydney was such a great big sister, bringing Jenson presents, showing him how to open them, and showing him some of the special features of his new toys. We are blessed to have 2 wonderful years with Jenson and Thursday was definitely a day to celebrate!!! We're incredibily thankful for moments like Thursday.

Now for the bad news. We got the call Friday with the biopsy results of his GI, and he still has histiocyte cells in his GI. As a result, we now have a really difficult decision to make around whether we continue with his current chemo treatment or add more toxic drugs to the mix (which could either cure him or make him a lot worse and give him permanent side effects including kidney issues, liver issues, seizure, developmental issues, etc).

What a hard decision! Please pray for God's infinite wisdom for us and the doctors as we figure out the best path forward.

Kristin
