Sydney woke up early this morning throwing up. All over her bed, in the bathroom, and in her pink bucket so far this morning. I'm obviously staying home with her today.
Doug and Jenson just took off to Sonoma so we can hopefully keep Jenson away from whatever bug she has... the last thing he needs on top of his chemo treatment yesterday is a stomach bug that makes you throw up (he's already dealing with nausea from the chemo).
Do you know the feeling when you're standing on the shore of the beach with waves crashing in and you're being pulled off balance by undercurrents and you're not sure you can keep your balance? That's how life feels right now. This is just another big wave on top of other recent big waves.
The goods news is we've weathered this type of wave before and at least Syd is at the age she can lay on the couch and watch a couple movies so I can try to get some work done.
We keep getting up and bracing for the new wave as best we can. Please pray for calmer water.
