I just got the call from our GI doctor. Unfortunately, there is still the presence of histiocyte cells in Jenson's GI tract (both in the duodendum and new learning for us at least also in the colon).
So sad. :-(
Certain this will mean continued chemo. We'll find out Monday what the oncologist will recommend in terms of staying with the current chemo drugs or switching to something different.
Hard to find the silver lining in this one, but we are very thankful that his narrowing in his GI tract is better so at least something is moving in a positive direction.
Please continue praying for our sweet boy and for strength for our family through this continued challenging time.

Time to Remember

One day at a time... Good news is he can eat solids now and his GI is almost of normal size. That is a HUGE improvement over the past 8 months. Perhaps, as awful as this sounds, a new chemo treatment might be just the solution he needs. As we know how each of us responds differently to various medicines. Maybe they just have not found his healing pill yet - but they will.
