To walk or not to walk?

Since last Friday the big question is: To walk or not to walk?

On Saturday Jenson felt good and was walking like crazy (seriously couldn't stop as he was so excited he could again). We tried our best to help him pace himself, but that's near impossible with a 2 yr old. Not surprisingly, he had pain Sat night and didn't want to walk much on Sunday or Monday. Tuesday was better with some walking and pain later in the day. Wednesday he was hobbling around and dragging his legs as he took steps but later had pain. Thursday was better and so far today, better as well.

The leg pain seems to be gradually improving, so it's leading us to believe it might be the prednisone tapering. At least that's what we're hoping.

On Wednesday we had dinner at my parent's house and two bunnies were hopping around outside. Sydney and Jenson we so excited as they haven't seen bunnies up close before. They both wanted to go outside, right now! Sydney at first is quietly saying "Hi bunny...hi bunny. It's ok". That quickly turned into her chasing the bunnies around the entire yard. Jenson hobbled his way around but despite not being able to chase them still had a fantastic time watching the bunnies sprint away and hide in the bushes as Sydney followed them around.

Kids definitely give you great perspective on enjoying the little things in life like chasing bunnies versus focusing on all your problems. Perspective is good.
