Vacation Memories

We're planning our annual trip to Palm Desert.  It's our favorite family vacation spot.  Planning it brings up so many fun memories of our times there with Jenson.

We usually drive there --- from Texas.  Jenson even made the long car ride fun.  From his car seat, he'd call out every time we passed the golden arches, "Yum-yums!" (his word for french fries). 

He loved water... not getting in the water rather the water cooler.  His favorite pool side activity was getting water for each person from the water cooler.   Mommy need water?  Daddy need water? Sydney need water?  Grandma Jo need water?  Grandpa Jo need water?  Mommy need water again?...

Jenson loved being with his family on vacation.  He would melt my heart when he'd come across the room, give me a big kiss, and say "Awhhh mommy.  It's mommy.  Mommy home." 

Vacation is a time to get away and be with your family.  It's a time to make memories that will last forever.
