A Time to Grieve

Close friends of ours lost their baby girl this week.  A heartbreaking loss.  As a parent, losing a child is the ultimate in devastation.  It's a club you never want to join.

Grieving the loss of a child is the hardest work I've ever done.  The pain consumes you.  It strips you to the core.  And it never fully goes away - over time you learn to live with it.  But you never forget.

This week we grieve with our friends reminding them they are surrounded by love. 

And I take comfort in visualizing Jenson welcoming a new little friend to paradise.
