Sweet Sister

This is a chemo week, and chemo week's now are really rough since we switched chemo drugs (his chemo treatment plan is also used to treat acute leukemia).

Tuesday and Wednesday seem to be the worst days. Those are the days in addition to the nausea, weak legs, and vomitting that crazy high fevers also appear. Lately they have been 102-104 degrees. You can tell he feels absolutely miserable. :-(

So in comes the story about Jenson's compassionate little sister.

Tuesday night he was feeling so horrible he didn't want hugs and kisses, so Sydney pulls out "Tickle Me Elmo" because she knows it usually makes him laugh.

This time though she didn't just push Elmo's button to have Elmo laugh, she decided to copy everything Elmo was doing as he waved his hands, fell to the ground laughing, and rolled back up.


This was quite hilarious watching her do this...but more importantly it was such a sweet act to comfort her hurting little brother.

While Sydney is only 5, Jenson could not ask for a more compassionate, sweet sister!
